We are contractors who receive an annual bonus from our client. The client has paid the bonus to our corporation, but the business has not distributed it to us. How long can my firm hold onto the bonus prior to they distribute?

There are a great deal of issues that are not said. Is there a contract that they will distribute the bonus for the workers? Is there a cash flow problem with the organization and they have to have the bonus to pay bills. It is hard to give you an answer without the facts. If there may be a contract, then that must tell you the answer. If there may be not a contract, there perhaps no requirements to even distribute the bonus. Your firm would be better off communicating to the employees.
